Switch 2 Reportedly Costs 400$ Without Design Revolution

As we all know, Nintendo Switch is widely popular in the domain of portable gaming. Although it supports fewer AAA titles than other handhelds like Steam Deck, however, what’s unique in it is its exclusive games, which is the reason why it still sells tons of copies.

As the era of Nintendo Switch has finally completed five successful years now, it appears that the successor release in inevitable.

As reported by various forums, Nintendo Switch 2 is going to release in 2024. However, what’s more intriguing is that now a piece of news has surfaced that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be an iteration of the same hardware design as its predecessor.

The revelation came from an analyst via Games Industry Dr. Serkan Toto, CEO of Tokyo-based game industry consultancy Kantan Games. The same man who exactly analyzed that Nintendo’s games were going to get a price hike last year.

Elaborating more on the console, the CEO stated it is likely to cost $400 – $100 higher than the original console launched at while it will revolve around the current trend of 70$ titles.

Like its predecessor, the console will Sustain portability, which is why Switch exists while the design will be the same as the original with slight modifications.

Moreover, the CEO also referred to Pokémon saying that as the game is widely favored and is only available on the handheld console so, Nintendo is never going to drop that portability feature.

Apart from this, there have already been leaks of the various details of Nintendo Switch 2 while the most promising is the inclusion of DLSS 3.5, which will likely come in handy coping the console to handle 1080p with ray tracing.
