After the successful launch of Spider-Man 2, details of Spider-Man 3 are emerging one by one. Previously, it was leaked that Spider-Man 3 would include three playable characters. Today, another detail has emerged: according to the Spider-Man voice actor, Peter will play a key role in Spider-Man 3.

Although the ending of Spider-Man 2 suggested that Peter might take a break from the franchise, the latest report has clarified that Peter will take a pivotal role in the next Spider-Man. So, with that, we can conclude that Spider-Man 3 will feature three playable characters.
This could include Silk as a new character and Miles Morales and Peter, aligning with GTA 5, which also included Franklin, Trevor, and Micheal as three playable characters.
Hence, it is worth waiting to see how Insomniac balances the main story length distribution among these three playable characters will be interesting. With those characters, we think that Spider-Man 3 will raise the bar for immersive storytelling higher than previous entries.
