Team Bloober recreated Silent Hill buzz with the release of the Silent Hill 2 remake. The game got a great reception, and the studio was appreciated for delivering a worthy remake of a classical title. Following the release of the remake, what’s next for the studio? The studio has already announced their next project Cronos: The Next Dawn, which is a sci-fi horror title.
However, it was revealed by MP1ST interviews, that the studio is working on something other than Cronos. It appears that the studio is not breaking its streak of working on two projects simultaneously. Previously, it was Silent Hill 2 and Project Cronos. Now, it’s Cronos and Team Bloober’s new project.
Within the Bloober Team, we have two production teams. Both teams operate independently, however the whole team is sharing the experience of working on previous projects like Medium, Observer, Layers of Fear, Silent Hill 2, Blair Witch etc. And all I can say today is that after the completion of work on Silent Hill 2, the team will conduct the pre-production work on a new project.

Other than Team Bloober’s New project in the pre-production phase, the studio didn’t mention any details regarding it. So, we have no idea what’s behind the doors of Team Bloober.
Moreover, the studio has also announced Project R in December 2023, which is a collaboration between Bloober and Skydance Entertainment. Apart from Project R, there are also Project C and Project M at work at Bloober.
Nevertheless, the project that is in the pre-production phase might be one of these projects, or it could be something new. So, we have to wait further to see the details of it.
Nonetheless, the director has some delightful words for the fans awaiting the release of Cronos: The New Dawn, as the sound team of Silent Hill 2 has shifted to the project, which means that the work of the game is accelerated.
