The Nvidia RTX 50 Blackwell announcement at CES 2025, held in January, introduced some innovative features in Nvidia Technologies, such as advanced AI features, including DLSS 4 with Multi-frame generation and Nvidia Reflex 2, which provide a smoother gaming experience in competitive titles by reducing latency to almost negligible values.
While it was announced that Nvidia Reflex 2 would be first introduced in the RTX 50 series and would later included in other GPUs, today we have discovered a report that details the minimum requirements of Reflex Frame Warp. According to a report, Nvidia Reflex 2 will be an exclusive feature for the RTX 50 lineup at launch.
Reflex 2 further reduces latency with Frame Warp, increasing responsiveness by updating the game frame based on the latest mouse input before sending it to the display. Hence, it is a breakthrough for competitive gamers.
However, the feature is limited to RTX 50 and will be disappointing for lower RTX GPU series owners as they have to wait sometime before getting this feature, and the highly competitive players will surely update their GPUs to RTX 50. Therefore, this exclusive feature will further provide a justification point for a must-buy option.
Nvidia showed sample images showing that using Nvidia Reflex 2, the latency reduces from 64ms to 16ms. It has a Low Latency mode and a Reflex Analyser.
That said, Nvidia Reflex 2 is supported by games including The Finals, Valorant, Overwatch 2, and others, and more games will follow in the future.
All in all, RTX 50 series GPUs, including RTX 5090 and 5080, are available to buy. If you haven’t bought it, make sure to check it out before it get’s out of stock.
