Now a days, there is nothing but the rumors of next God of War. We previously reported that an insider said that God Of War is returning to Greece featuring young Kratos, and the title will be a remaster.
However, today another credible insider Jeff Grubb said that there is a God of War game cooking, which is returning to Greece. In contrast to the previous claims that it is a remaster, the insider said that it not a remaster instead a side project.
This means that the young Kratos returning to Greece will be whole new game with new story, new gameplay features, and much more. While fans were alredy excited about the remaster, this new claim further fuels their anticiation given a whole game in classsical greece is a treat for fans.
Moreover, God of War Greece is set to release later this year for PS5, which means somewhere around September to December. However, the game’s scope is limited and in line with Marvel’s Spider-Man so fans should not expect something bigger like mainline entries from the studio.
Nonetheless, this project will get a warm reception from fans. Although the scope will not be much bigger, it is still better than a remaster and finally seeing young Kratos again after the classical trilogy is kept everyone excited.
While there are not much details of the project, but a recent rumor reported by us claimed that there will be God of War game, which will be a prequel featuring young Kratos and revolves around the relation of Kratos with his father Zeus.
All in all, all these are rumors so take these with grain of salt and wait for any official statement or announcement of the title.
