While Capcom is gearing up to release its ARPG Monster Hunter Wilds on February 28, the title has already dominated the Steam charts. Currently, Monster Hunter Wilds sits on the top Steam sellers charts.
It is impressive to see that Monster Hunter Wilds beat the likes of big launches, including Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Avowed, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and others.

This suggests that the game is getting its due attention and has generated much hype to dominate the charts. Meanwhile, the wishlists for the title are also strong and top the Steam Wishlists charts as well.
It’s worth mentioning that the title climbed to the top 15 Steam sellers as soon as the company started selling preorders. Hence, it has generated more hype to claim the top spot.
Although Capcom’s previous title, Dragon Dogma 2, did not succeed much, this next ARPG might change things for the company. With such strong metrics before launch, we can anticipate the launch will be massive. Hence, it can generate millions of sales easily and generate a decent amount of revenue for Capcom.

All in all, the review embargo on Monster Hunter Wilds will also play a critical role in its success, so it’s worth waiting until 24 to see how well it matches the expectations of the reviewers.
That said, the preload of the game is also revealed. Capcom allows PC and Xbox Series X/S players to preload the title on February 25, whereas on PS5, it will be available on pre-access just 48 hours before launch.
