Days Gone Remastered Lacks Significant Visual Overhaul From Original

Days Gone Remastered

Sony has revealed Days Gone Remastered in the first State of Play of the year in February. However, a YouTuber, Cycu, has shown a comparison of the remastered with the original. It is really disappointing to say that we have not found any significant difference in visuals when compared with the original. Hence, Bend Studio’s Days Gone Remastered is far from the standards of the modern remaster.

It’s worth noting that it is the comparison of Days Gone running on PC with Nvidia RTX 4080 and Days Gone Remastered trailer captured on PS5 Pro. It is really astounding that even in some areas, we found the lightning and textures more detailed in the original title.

As we already reported, Sony cancelled the Bend Studios’ Days Gone live service title. Hence, fans started hoping that Sony might now consider a Days Gone 2. However, the latest announcement of the remastered seems unnecessary.

Now, the remaster shows early graphics did not have any significant visual upgrades, putting ice on the hopes of further.

However, it’s the early graphics comparison, and there’s still time for the arrival of the title on April 25. So, we expect that Bend Studios will utilize the remaining time to polish the title further to make it a worthy remaster.

While it’s too early to see anything, the remaster might be a project to collect funds for the Days Gone 2. Are you interested in this remaster? Let us know in the comments.
