Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
This year, Activision is featuring a new addition to the Call of Duty franchise – Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. The game is scheduled for release on November 10, and it is being developed by Sledgehammer Games.
Despite sledgehammer games, seven other studios aided in the game’s development, including Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and others.
It is believed that the game is a DLC (Downloadable Content) due to the fact that its PSN (PlayStation Network) code corresponds with that of Modern Warfare 2.
However, Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is not a DLC expansion. It’s a full premium game.
According to confirmation from Activision, gamers can expect a fresh and innovative gaming experience with the upcoming release, as opposed to it simply being an expansion of an existing title.
In a statement sent to CharlieIntel, Activision confirmed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Online is a premium release, not an expansion.
“As stated in numerous Activision Blizzard quarterly conference calls, Modern Warfare III is a premium release.”
Moreover, it is worth noting that the price of the game stands at 70 USD, and it should be noted that there are no discounts available for those who wish to upgrade from Modern Warfare 2.
The upcoming game will be made available for gamers who own previous generation consoles such as the Xbox One and PS4, ensuring that they too can enjoy the excitement and thrill that the game has to offer.
Furthermore, attendees can expect to witness an exclusive demonstration of the highly anticipated game that will only be accessible on the PlayStation platform for a limited period of five days.
