Stellar Blade was one of the biggest PS5 exclusives in 2024. This action RPG from Shift Up was highly praised for its challenging soul-borne and character action mixed combat, visuals, and much more.
However, today, we have figured out that Shift Up has found immense success with this title. As per our calculations, Stellar Blade has sold over 2 million copies worldwide.
Shift Up has published its 2024 Q4 and FY24 earnings reports, and in these reports it is highlighted that Stellar Blade continues to perform well given it has generated $43 million in royalties. Previously, one million sales have derived $15.8 million in royalties for the game. So, with $43 million in royalties now, the sales would have surpassed the 2 million milestone.
Meanwhile, Shift Up again stated in the report that the company is looking for the PC version of Stellar Blade with expectations of performing better than the console version, helping the game sales figure boast to another level.
The company has already announced that Stellar Blade PC Port will be released in 2025. However, there’s no exact date yet. Also, the company is working on the optimization of the title on Steam Deck as well to release it with a properly polished version of Steam Deck along with PC.
Given that Shiftup was successful in matching the audience’s expectations with Stellar Blade, it is further capitalizing on the title by working on a sequel and a DLC.
Apart from Stellar Blade Shift Up is also working on a new IP called Project Witches, which will be released in 2027 and whose details will be published in 2025.
