Today, we have discovered that another game is making its way to these platforms. Perfect Dark Reboot is the next game that is reportedly making its way to Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5.
We have figured out this information via a job listing for the principal graphics engineer of the initiative at Microsoft, which describes the requirements for creating visuals and optimized rendering for multiple platforms.
While this news could bring excitement to PS5 users, Xbox users will be disappointed, given that they want exclusivity on Xbox. The Perfect Dark reboot, developed by The Initiative and Crystal Dynamics, was one of the anticipated Xbox exclusives in development, and with this information, it appears that this is no longer an exclusive.
From this information, a question arises as to whether Xbox will release Perfect Dark Reboot on day one on other platforms or if it will be a timed exclusive for Xbox.
We recently reported that several Xbox exclusives are coming to PS5, including Forza Horizon 5, Halo, Killer Instinct, Fable, and others. Hence, given the recent reports of Xbox’s decline in gaming revenue by 7%, this strategy is the best solution for raising the statistics again.
