There is great update for the Assassin’s Creed fan as the one of the game in the franchise is getting a 60 FPS update tomorrow. Ubisoft officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is finally getting a 60 FPS update tomorrow.
While there was already a potential leak of the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate 60 FPS update, it has now been officially confirmed. Ubisoft announced the update by saying, “the streets of London are calling. The free 60 FPS update will be available tomorrow on PS5,PS5 PRO, and Xbox series X/S”.
The update takes a space of 700MB on PlayStation while it’s quite large on Xbox around 31 GB.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, released in 2015, featured twins Jacob and Evie Frye playing the role of Assassin in the streets of London in the 1860s. Although the title was not a big hit, it was still one of the great titles of the franchise.
So, after 9 years, Ubisoft finally added a reason to replay the game with next-gen consoles. With the release of PS5 Pro, fans can enjoy the PSSR technology of the console running the game at 4K resolutions. Moreover, the update is free of cost, given the game is an old title, so it is obvious.
It’s good that Ubisoft didn’t neglect the old games as well. While the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate 60 FPS update is a good step, the game wasn’t the first title to get the treatment; Ubisoft also released a 60 FPS update for Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey.
Following the next-gen update of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, fans are now taking an interest in the 60 FPS update for Assassin’s Creed Unity as well.
Nevertheless, the company’s main focus is on its upcoming AC entry, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which, like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, features dual protagonists Yasuke and Naoe and is slated to be released on November 14.
