Sanhok Recall System

Crux Of The Story

  • The recall system is one of the highly liked features in competitive games and PUBG initiated this feature in May 2023 in larger maps like Erangel, Miramar, and others.
  • However, it was later expanded to other maps and has now been included in Sanhok.
  • Fans have long demanded this feature in Sanhok; hence, PUBG has finally heard them.

Battle Royale was one of the big breakthroughs in multiplayer shooters, and Tencent adopted this quite well in PUBG. While it does not compete with the shooter giants like Call Of Duty, it still has a vast fanbase and is always in Steam’s top charts.

As a live service title, the game frequently added updates to make it more interesting for fans, and today, we have seen one of the highly requested feature inclusion in the title.

Announcing on X, PUBG has included a recalling system in Sanhok, which is a green map in the game. The recalling system gives players one more life to compete with other players. It works with the help of your teammate who retrieves your recall chip and uses it in recalling stations and blue chip transmitters found throughout the map. Once you are revived, the helicopter drops you one more time; however at the cost of losing all of your loot.

Although the recall system is new in Sanhok, it is already available on other maps including Erangel, Miramar, Deston, Vikendi, and Taego. Given it has been almost a few years for Sanhok to get this feature, fans will be glad with this update.

Despite this update, Tencent still has an important task to do in Sanhok, which is optimization as players highly complain about performance issues like frame drops, stuttering, and more.

All in all, the recall system started rolling in May 2023. Initially, it was a feature for bigger maps like Erangel, Miramar, and Deston. However, it has been expanded and now reaches Sanhok. Hence, fans will see this feature in the future in the remaining maps, including Vikendi and Kirakin.
