Warhorse Studios did a phenomenal job revitalizing Kingdom Come Deliverance IP as a worthy addition to the RPG genre. With Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 success, everyone is wondering about the studio’s future roadmap. However, we have discovered an interesting insight.
In an interview, Warhorse Studios PR Manager Sir Tobi said that they want to expand the franchise to 300 developers or more and will not stick to a single game; instead, they will work on several projects simultaneously.
“Our ambition is to grow further so become a studio of 300 heads and more and maybe in the future also work on several titles at once”.
Sir Tobi
This will include more content for Kingdom Come Deliverance and more new IPs. The developer said that they are highly inspired by the CDPR approach. They have worked on their true RPG IP, Witcher, but also created an innovative futuristic IP, Cyberpunk 2077, which is more GTA-like. However, both are connected to each other in the end.

So, Warhorse also wants to expand Kingdom Come Deliverance into a bigger franchise and also create innovative projects to stand out from the competition. With the current 250 developers working on fixing bugs in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and also working on DLCs, the studio aims to expand to 300 or more and will split teams for different projects so they can work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Hence, Warhorse is gradually evolving into a bigger studio with the aim of delivering more worthy titles to fans. With the CDPR approach in mind, the studio can truly bring fresh, innovative projects to the table without fearing the risk of failure.
All in all, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s success, esteemed by selling a million on launch day, inspired the developers, and this inspiration has led the studio to become more ambitious in the future. Also, the revenue from the title will help fund the studio’s future projects.
That said, the PR manager also gave insights into the DLCs. According to him, the first DLC will be smaller, while the last one will be bigger. Also, the studio will finish its work and move on from Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 at the end of the year.
