Given the previous successful launches, CDPR’s upcoming projects, including Project Orion, a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, and Project Sirus Witcher 4, are highly anticipated. However, today, we have found an interesting detail about the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.
According to the job listing, CDPR is looking to amplify the FPS elements in its upcoming title, Project Orion. CDPR recently published a job listing for Level Designer and Senior Level Designer, and we found this detail in the requirements.

CDPR is known for RPG games, so it is looking for experienced developers in this niche. Now, it also wants someone to work on FPS elements. While Cyberpunk 2077 already has RPG elements with a mix of FPS elements, we can suspect that the company is now pushing the FPS aspect further.
So, CDPR is now looking to raise the bar in the sequel and set a new standard in making RPG games with focused FPS elements. While the game is years away, so details are limited, it appears that the company is considering a more refined and polished take on the FPS aspect, blended with immersive storytelling and RPG elements that are CDPR’s expertise.
All in all, the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel might feature enhanced gunplay mechanics, improved aiming and shooting systems, and others.
So, the time is not far when we will see a whole new genre of RPG games with a focus on FPS elements, and CDPR might be the pioneer of this genre.
That said, things are changing much for the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel. Previous job listings also highlighted that the sequel would have a multiplayer mode. In the new listings, the company again suggested that Project Orion will have both a single-player and multiplayer mode.
So, every new detail highlights that CPDR is going really ambitious with its upcoming projects, given the company already increased our hype by saying that Witcher 4 will push the boundaries of RPG further, raising the bars higher than ever.
