Crux Of The Story

  • Intel is launching its next-gen Battlemage Arc GPUs.
  • While it was already leaked that these GPUs would be announced soon, now the exact date has leaked.
  • Intel will announce these GPUs on December 3, and the launch will be on 12 and 13 December.

Intel’s next GPUs named Battlemage Arc are in the rumor mill, and after one another, leaks are emerging. Previously, we mentioned that Intel Arc B580 costs $250 based on a listing spotted by a leaker. Now, another leak has surfaced about the announcement and launch date of the cards.

According to sources of Videocardz, Intel will reveal Battlemage on December 3 only some days from today. The announcement will encompass two variants Arc B570 and B580. Furthermore, a Limited edition will also unveiled known as a reference design.

Meanwhile, the launch will be on December 12, and the same-day review embargo will also lift. However, Intel plans to split the review embargo of Limited Edition and AIB cards on alternate days. This means AIB models will launch on December 13.

Additionally, the specs are also leaked, and the Arc B570 features 18 Xe2 cores, whereas the Arc B580 has 20 Xe2 cores. The price point, Xess upscaling, and 12 GB Vram make B580 one of the tough competitors in the mid-budget segment.

While now Intel Battlemage leaks are coming up, the other competitor Nvidia also working on their next-generation RTX 50 Blackwell GPUs, which are rumored to launch in January at CES 2025.
