Crux Of The Story
- Intel next-gen GPUs Battlemage Arc are appearing online.
- A leaker spotted the price point of these GPUs as there is a listing for an “Intel ARC B580 Limited Edition” GPU with a $250 price tag.
- This makes the card a good entry for budget gamers as it’s expected to feature 12GB Vram, 20 Xe2 cores, and 2.85 MHZ clock speed.
While industry giants like Nvidia and AMD are gearing up for their next-gen graphics cards, Intel is not behind in the race as the company is looking for Battlemage Arc GPUs. Battlemage Arc B580 specifications were previously leaked.
Today, another interesting detail is revealed as the GPU price point is something that could put Nvidia and AMD in a tough spot. Battlemage Arc B580 is reportedly asking $250.
This was spotted by reliable tech leaker Momomo_us on X. In the post, the leaker mentioned that the B580 limited edition costs $250, whereas in the later post, four US retailers were asking for as low as $246.
We mentioned that Intel Arc B580 price makes the competition a bit tighter for AMD and Nvidia because if we check the price of current-gen Nvidia and AMD GPUs, the RTX 4060 is priced at $279.99 while AMD Radeon RX 7600 has an MSRP of $259.99 and both are 8GB Vram cards.
However, Intel Battlemage Arc B580 is expected to feature 12GB Vram, 20 Xe2 cores and a max clock speed of 2.85 GHz. So, we confidently say that Intel is entering into the market of budget gaming cards. Moreover, Intel upscaling technology Xess upscaling is progressively at a good pace and over 200 titles are supported by it.
Nonetheless, alongside Intel, Nvidia and AMD are looking for their next-gen cards. Nvidia launching RTX 50 Blackwell series while AMD coming up with the RX 8000 series which reportedly features RDNA 4.
