Rockstar has big plans this year with the release of two big titles GTA 6 in Fall 2025 and Mafia The Old Country in Summer 2025. While people don’t have any speculation about the Mafia release date, the GTA 6 release is the most controversial thing in gaming communities.
However, Take-Two the Rockstar parent company has released its financial reports for October to December 2024 and in the report, it says that GTA 6 is still on track for 2025 hence, Rockstar is still looking to meet the official release date after all the previous history of delays in GTA games.
“Looking ahead, this calendar year is shaping up to be one of the strongest ever for Take-Two, as we plan to launch Sid Meier’s Civilization VII on February 11, Mafia: The Old Country in the Summer, GTA 6 in the Fall, and Borderlands 4.”
Meanwhile, after the financial report, Take-Two also confirmed that GTA 6 is not getting delayed after an interview following the financial reports via Variety
“We’ve announced a pretty narrow window. So I think our view is that right now, that’s fine,”

Many like us will get a sigh of relief that Rockstar didn’t delay the most anticipated game of the year. However, we are still waiting for the exact release date with another trailer to see more glimpses of the game after the first trailer in December 2023.
Furthermore, we reported recently that GTA 6 is in an advanced developmental state playable from start to finish only the polishing phase remains, which is clearing out all the bugs of the game. Hence, GTA 6 Fall 2025 is not a dream anymore but a reality.
Being console timed exclusive, everyone is waiting to know what would be a performance on the consoles, Rockstar Former Animator says that it will target 30 FPS on the PS5 and Xbox series, and the PS5 pro is a hope for 60 FPS, but it is worth the wait to see.
