God Of War Next Game Announcement Could Be Soon

God Of War

God of War: Ragnarok was Santa Monica’s last mainline project on November 22, 2023, so there has been no official announcement of a new release from the studio.

Although the PC version of the game was announced for release on September 22, an actress has teased that the studio is gearing up for God of War next game announcement.

Previously, there were reports of multiple God of War developments at Santa Monica, including a remake or remaster of the God of War trilogy, the next mainline sequel, and a game based on Atreus.

However, there were leaks, and nothing has been confirmed yet, but it appears that the studio is planning to announce any of the following projects.

This was speculation based on actress Snaxanlfq’s posting on her Twitter profile that she was happy to visit Santa Monica Studio. She said that there would be words on the upcoming project, so stay tuned.

This means that Santa Monica could announce its next game. As the PS5 Pro announcement is coming up in the upcoming State of Play, we might see the God of War next game announcement at the event.

Meanwhile, apart from the God of War IP, there are also reports that the studio is working on a new IP, a sci-fi-based game. Therefore, Santa Monica has a busy schedule for upcoming projects, and the team is working on the projects at their highest.

Since God Of War is one of the biggest PlayStation Exclusive IPs, this piece of information will make the anticipation for the next game quite high.

Generally, Games, when announced, take 3-4 months to release, so if the announcement comes, we will see the next God of War in the early days of 2025. Until then, IP fans can consider playing God of War DLC Valhalla, which is one of the finest expansions in the industry and is free of cost.
