Horizon Zero Dawn introduced the concept of Machines roaming freely in an open world, where players can fight or tame them for their benefit by riding on them. Today, we have seen another title that copies the style of the game. Tencent announced its new action-adventure title Light of Motiram coming on PC Steam and Epic Games Store.
While the release date of the title wasn’t mentioned, the details are revealed resembling highly Horizon. Therefore, it is perceived as a Horizon clone. In the teaser trailer, Tencent showed different formidable Machines with the protagonist skirmishing, taming, riding, and flying. All of these closely resemble Horizon.
Similar to Horizon, the character has a bow, arrow, and a spare for combat, and the open world also looks similar. So, we can confidently say it’s a clone of Horizon. However, the game has something unique, as it has a Co-op of up to 10 players, allowing players to uncover the journey of Motiram with their friends, and it has cross-play as well.
Moreover, there’s a building system powered by realistic physics simulation. it’s a base for the players where they can shelter or build a fortified stronghold.
